EV Myth Buster | EV Displays | EV Charging Demos | Food/Drink

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are set to become the future of transportation as the global market moves towards more sustainable and eco-friendly transportation. Just how much do such vehicles help combat carbon emissions? And can anyone afford an EV? Did you know there are incentives to owning an EV? Join us for our next Nerd Night as we answer these questions and more! We will be sharing how EV ownership can be for anyone with lots of insightful information by EP Electric’s Electrification Transportation Team along with several EV’s on display and portable charging demos.

UTEP’s ASPIRE (Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification) Program is a five-year, $26 million renewable grant that is headquartered at Utah State University and operated through strategic partnerships with UTEP, Purdue University, the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Auckland in New Zealand. The ASPIRE Program seeks to engage underserved community members to become better informed on sustainable, electrified transportation. This Nerd Night will be a part of that effort as it will be held in the Chihuahuita Neighborhood, but we invite all of the El Paso Community to attend!

So, bring a chair, come have a meal and learn all the amazing things about electric vehicles with us!

Nerd Night Presentation and Demos:
-We will open the evening with a special interpretive dance by student from UTEP’s Dance and Theater Department.

-Our friends at El Paso Electric will then lead a Myth Buster Activity, share information on EV costs and incentives, and we will open the floor up to Q&A for all your inquiries on EV’s. A fleet of EV’s will be on display and we will have EV charging demos
