UTEP biology faculty and students, joined by high school teachers from El Paso and students from across the U.S., headed for Antarctica and the Arctic to carry out research projects - and learned what it's like to come out of the frying pan and into the freezer!
This exhibit highlights their work, what they learned about the impact of climate change, and explains the differences and similarities between the north and south poles. The exhibit offers children of all ages fun ways to learn more about these ends of the earth.
Measure yourself against different types of penguins, create an origami penguin and learn how your actions in El Paso really do effect climate change at the poles. For more information – please go to www.ipyroam.org
