Chemistry in the House - JUNE 16-19
Learn about the basics of chemistry through hands on experiments using common household materials. Use Kool Aid to tie-dye your own t-shirt. Test for acids and bases using red cabbage. Make a volcano and lava lamp, and use pop rocks and mentos in some explosive experiments! Create your own toothpaste and more... all while exploring the amazing aspects of chemistry.

The Green Party - JUNE 23-26
Who knew going green could be so much fun! During camp you will partake in many eco-friendly activities like creating recycled art using everyday household products, learn about solar energy by making your own solar oven and grow your own garden in a homemade terrarium. By joining the Green Party you will learn how your carbon footprint has affected the earth and how you can use your own creativity to make it better. This is a fantastic way to take matters into your own hands and give back to the Earth while having fun!

Begin your adventure over 200 million years ago when dinosaurs roamed our Earth. Examine the lives of dinosaurs through hands-on activities. Build your own fossil and create a dinosaur egg and diorama habitat.

Build, explore, learn, play! Build a city or space station with houses, skyscrapers, pyramids, bridges, tunnels, towers and more. Experiment with motorized cars and trucks, race them, crash them, and repair them. Tinker with basic robotics and watch your creations come to life! Explore the many possibilities of LEGO® building systems while learning building techniques and scientific principles.

The Science of Art - JULY 21-24
What if paper and paint had not been invented yet? How could you paint a picture? Well it's time to get creative. Art is everywhere you look and during camp you will see that art is not always as simple as picking up a pencil and paper. Campers will explore the beauty of art while understanding the science to it. During camp you will create your own unique masterpieces by trying your hand at things like paper mache, making homemade paint, edible art and many other fun and different ways of displaying your creative images.

Delve into the era and science of mummies. Take a trip to ancient Egypt to uncover the mysteries within pyramids and hidden treasures. Wrap up a mummy, play Egyptian games and re-create artifacts & jewelry of the ancient world! |
