Summer Camps 2026

Get ready for a summer of fun and learning with our STEAM summer camps! Our programs are designed for students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and math, and want to explore these subjects in a hands-on, interactive way. Our experienced instructors will guide students through exciting experiments, projects, and activities that will challenge and inspire them.

INSIGHTS' STEAM CAMPS 2026

 

Summer camps are back!

 

INSIGHTS Science Discovery, in partnership with UTEP Professional and Public Programs, is offering a variety of hands-on, fun weekly STEAM camps designed to introduce kids to science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts, technology, and careers, packed with "Ooh" and "Aah" moments alongside real scientific explanations.

Grades 3–5 and 6–8

Monday–Friday

9 A.M. – Noon and 1–4 P.M.

Fee: $175  

Early Bird Fee: $157.50 (enroll by May 15)

Note: June 15 camps are 4 days (no class Friday, June 19)

Fee: $140

Choose Your Camp:

​

  • STEAM-Tacular – June 1 & June 29 — Build, create, experiment, observe and make things you never thought you could.

​

  • Astro Camp – June 8 & July 13 — Discover the secrets of surviving in space!

​

  • MBots: Coding & Robotics – June 15 & July 6 — Learn to code, bring it to life with the mBot, and watch it zoom across the floor! (June 15 session is 4 days — no class Friday, June 19)

​

  • Young Naturalists – June 22 & July 20 — Explore the wild world right in your own backyard and beyond.

​

  • STEM-Tacular – June 29 — Build, create, experiment, observe and make things you never thought you could.

​

  • Circuits, Magnetism and Drones – June 15 & July 6 — Discover how electricity flows, why magnets push and pull, and how drones stay in the air. (June 15 session is 4 days — no class Friday, June 19)

  • Aquamania – June 22 & July 20 — Dive headfirst into all the wild, weird and wonderful things water can do.
